Guwahati, 9th September: In a tragic incident, the body of an unidentified woman was found floating in a pond between Borbori and Kalikajori villages in Morigaon district on September 9. Locals discovered the naked body hanging in the middle of the pond early in the morning, around 5 AM, raising suspicions of foul play.
The Mikirbheta Police were immediately informed and have arrived at the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death. As of now, the victim remains unidentified, and locals suspect that the woman may have been murdered.
Authorities have confirmed that the exact cause of death will be determined after a post-mortem examination is conducted. The investigation is ongoing, and further details are awaited.
