Assam: Union Minister Rameshwar Teli’s Convoy Meets with Accident in Jagiroad

Guwahati, 3rd November: Union Minister Rameshwar Teli’s convoy met with an accident in Jagiroad, under the Morigaon district, on Friday.

The incident occurred while the minister was traveling from Guwahati to Kaziranga.

According to reports, three bodyguards, including the driver, sustained injuries in the accident.

It needs to be mentioned that earlier, on April 8, a Mahindra Bolero allegedly used by the police in Central Minister Rameshwar Teli’s convoy collided with and seriously injured a youth in Dibrugarh.

 The convoy was traveling along a one-way road, and the incident occurred near the Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH).

The injured youth, identified as Deepjyoti Bhattacharya from Barman Nagar, is currently receiving treatment in a private nursing hospital in Dibrugarh.

The victim’s elder brother spoke to the media, saying, “Locals informed me that my brother was hit by a minister while he was riding his bike.”
