Assam: UPPL’s Nirmal Kumar Brahma Takes Commanding Lead in Sidli Assembly Constituency

Assam: United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) candidate Nirmal Kumar Brahma has established a significant lead in the Sidli Assembly Constituency (No. 31) as the vote counting continues.

With the completion of the 14th round of vote counting, Brahma has garnered 67,948 votes, putting him ahead of his closest rival, Suddho Kumar Basumatary of the Bodo People’s Front (BPF), by a substantial margin of 28,373 votes.

The current breakdown of votes is as follows:

  • Nirmal Kumar Brahma (UPPL): 67,948 votes
  • Suddho Kumar Basumatary (BPF): 39,575 votes
  • Sanjib Warie (Congress): 4,464 votes

With a total of 114,572 votes counted so far, Brahma’s lead is substantial, indicating a strong possibility of him emerging victorious in the constituency.
