Guwahati, 27th November: In a recent search operation conducted by Dhubri police on November 27, a gun was recovered at the residence of a former Zomato delivery boy in Dhubri Municipal area.
The operation, prompted by specific information, targeted the residence of Noor Islam Sheikh, son of Aslam Uddin Sheikh, situated in New Market, Ward No-5, Dhubri.
Notably, Noor Islam Sheikh has been the subject of a previous case related to drug offenses, and he has been evading authorities since the case was registered.
It is noteworthy that Noor Islam was formerly employed as a Zomato delivery boy. The gun was seized from the house of Noor Islam in front of his wife.
Following this discovery, a search operation is underway to locate and apprehend Noor Islam Sheikh. The police continue their efforts to ensure the enforcement of legal proceedings in connection with the recovered gun and the previous drug case.
