Assam: Woman duped by youth in Guwahati, Rs 12 Lakh embezzled
Guwahati, 18th March: A young woman from Guwahati was allegedly duped of lakhs by a Muslim youth who forged his identity to establish a love relationship with her. The accused, identified as Hamidul Islam from Rangiya, is also accused of embezzling Rs 12 lakh.
Reports suggest that Islam changed his name to deceive the woman. The matter is currently under investigation, with the young woman filing a complaint against Islam in Guwahati. The police are actively investigating the case to bring justice to the victim.
