Assam: Workshop on Emerging Teaching Trends Empowers Educators in Jorhat
Guwahati, 28th June: The Jorhat Science Centre and Planetarium Auditorium today hosted a capacity-building workshop focused on “Emerging Trends of Learning and Teaching Pedagogies” at Prestige University in Jorhat. The workshop, aimed at enhancing teaching skills and student outcomes, was attended by senior faculty members from the Senior Secondary Department, nominated as valuable participants in the academic community.
Prestige University, Indore, facilitated the workshop free of charge, underlining its commitment to academic social responsibility and local coordination with the NDRF Academy, Jorhat. More than 200 teacher educators from Jorhat participated, receiving certificates for their engagement.
The workshop aimed to equip academicians with the latest teaching trends and best practices, fostering innovative teaching methods and building educational networks across the Northeast region. Udogta Mandal, addressing the media, highlighted the workshop’s significance in providing valuable opportunities to institutions and students in Assam and the Northeast.
He expressed optimism that the workshop’s impact would resonate through the academic community in Jorhat, extending its benefits to students in diverse schools across Assam, promoting the development of innovative skills among educators and learners alike.
