Assam: Young Muslim Woman Converts to Hinduism in Sri Sri Jakhalabandha Satra Nagaon
A young Muslim woman from Rangia, Assam, embraced Hindu Sanatan Dharma on Monday, September 23, in a spiritual conversion ceremony at the revered Sri Sri Jakhalabandha Satra in Nagaon. The ritual was overseen by Satradhikar Jugal Chandra Dev Goswami, a respected religious leader.
The conversion ceremony followed traditional Hindu practices, including prayers and worship, marking the woman’s formal initiation into Hinduism through the teachings of Mahapurush Sri Sri Damodar Dev Guru. Satradhikar Goswami revealed that the woman, highly educated, expressed her desire to convert, and after completing legal formalities, the ritual was carried out according to the principles of Sanatan Dharma. A certificate was issued to validate her transition.
This marks another instance of Satradhikar Goswami’s long-standing efforts, having initiated numerous conversions in the past, guiding individuals on their spiritual journeys.
