Guwahati, 26th December: In a recent development, a youth from Morigaon district of Assam was arrested for allegedly hurting religious feelings and promoting hate.
The youth has been identified as Arif Hussain, a resident of Mikirbheta.
The arrest was made by Morigaon Police in collaboration with CID, Assam, following the identification of a communal post by the accused against religious sentiments.
Arif Hussain is currently in the custody of Morigaon Mikirbheta police.
