Guwahati: Amid flash floods in the state, a youth electrocuted to death in Barpeta district of Assam on Wednesday night.
The youth identified as Jyotikesh Gayan.
The incident took place in Gayanhati area of the district.
According to reports, Gayan was electrocuted while attempting to disconnect an inverter that was submerged in floodwaters inside his home.
It needs to be mentioned that Gayan died on the spot.
