Assam Youth Found Dead In Andhra Pradesh

Guwahati, 15th June: The quiet village of Dudhnai in Assam was shaken by tragic news as the lifeless body of Tamach Basumatary, a young man in search of work, was discovered under mysterious circumstances far from his intended destination.

Tamach, along with three companions from Bandarshree village, set out on a hopeful journey to Bengaluru in pursuit of employment opportunities. Departing by train last Tuesday, Tamach traveled alone in a separate compartment from his friends. While the others safely reached their destination, Tamach failed to arrive, prompting deep concern and confusion among his peers. After exhaustive efforts to locate him, his body was tragically found near Tenali railway station in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, early this morning.

The heartbreaking news has reverberated through Dudhnai, leaving Tamach’s family and local villagers in shock and disbelief. They are now urging authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding Tamach’s untimely demise. Compounded by financial hardships, Tamach’s bereaved parents are unable to bring his body back home.

In a heartfelt plea, Tamach’s family and the community of Dudhnai have reached out to the Goalpara administration and the state government, appealing for assistance in repatriating his body so that they can perform his final rites and bid him a dignified farewell. This tragic incident closely follows another mysterious death in nearby Matia, intensifying the community’s grief and underscoring the need for swift action.
