Guwahati: The Yuvraj Singh Foundation will set up 100 bedded pediatric ICU at the Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) in Dibrugarh.
On Friday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Foundation and AMCH to set up 100 bedded children’s ICU.
As per AMCH authorities, the Yuvraj Singh Foundation generally deals with children with cancer but as this pandemic affected everyone so badly, they have taken the initiative to donate 1000 bedded ICU all over India.
Authorities further added that 50 beds will be set up by them in the first installment and the remaining 50 will be provided by the Foundation. Among the 100 ICU beds, 20 fully-fledged ventilator beds and 80 Oxygen generated beds will be set up at the children’s ward of AMCH.
