Assamese Singer Mayuri Dutta’s Social Media Accounts Hacked, Accused Held

Guwahati, 9th February: Renowned Assamese singer Mayuri Dutta has alleged that her Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp accounts were hacked by her photographer. She took immediate action by approaching the Cyber Cell of the Assam police and lodging a complaint.

Following her complaint, the suspected accused, identified as Kuldeep Deka, was apprehended by cyber cops on Friday. Investigations revealed that Kuldeep Deka gained control of all her social media accounts without her consent and obtained her personal information on his mobile phone.

Currently, the suspect is being interrogated by the Cyber Cell police as they delve deeper into the matter. The incident has raised concerns about cybersecurity and the protection of personal information on social media platforms.
