Assamese Wildlife Photographer Nejib Ahmed’s Work Showcased at London’s Natural History Museum

Guwahati, 16th October: Nejib Ahmed, a nature conservationist and photographer from Assam, had his photography showcased at the prestigious Natural History Museum in London. He was invited to participate in the 59th annual Wildlife Photographer of the Year event organized by the museum.

Selected images captured by Nejib Ahmed will be on display at the Natural History Museum for the next year. His work was chosen from a pool of 50,000 photographers, with only 100 photographers from around the world receiving invitations to the event.

Notably, Nejib Ahmed is the first Assamese photographer to participate in this prestigious exhibition. His photographs have been featured in esteemed publications like National Geographic and BBC Wildlife. Additionally, he has contributed to magazines such as Outlook, Traveller, and Century Asia. Nejib Ahmed has also co-authored a book titled “Birds of Orang” with DFO Pradeep Baruah of The Orang National Park.
