Assam’s Betkuchi High School Clinches Junior Girls’ Subroto Cup Title

Guwahati: Assam’s Betkuchi High School lifted the junior girls’ title of the 64th Subroto Cup on August 28, defeating Nandajhar Adibashi Pashili High School of West Bengal 3–1 in a thrilling final at New Delhi’s historic Ambedkar Stadium.

⚽ Match Highlights:
• Sayasree Sangma (12’), Milina Brahma (24’), and Mari Mech (29’) were the scorers for Assam.
• Neha Baroi (21’) netted the lone goal for West Bengal.

• Winners (Assam): ₹5,00,000
• Runners-up (West Bengal): ₹3,00,000

• Best Player (₹40,000): Mari Mech, Assam

With the conclusion of the junior girls’ event, the Subroto Cup action shifts to Bengaluru for the Sub-Junior Boys (U-15) tournament, to be played from September 2–11, 2025, across multiple Air Force grounds in the city.
