Guwahati, 20th May: Kristina, a young girl from Dergaon, has brought immense pride to Assam by winning the Miss Category at the Mr and Miss Global India Sunshine 2024 Modeling Competition held in Goa. Her victory marks a significant milestone at the national level, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication to the modeling profession.
Kristina has been modeling since her childhood and has worked tirelessly in preparation for this prestigious competition. Her journey through various states, including Mumbai, Goa, and Arunachal Pradesh, has cemented her reputation in the modeling industry. Her hard work and perseverance culminated in her winning the coveted title, bringing pride to her hometown.
Kristina made her modeling debut in 2022 at a local event in Dergaon. Since then, she has participated in numerous district- and state-level competitions, garnering multiple awards and accolades. Her success has been a source of joy and inspiration for her family and the people of Dergaon.
In her preparation for the national competition, Kristina represented Assam in the traditional round, wearing the mekhela chador, japi, and an attire featuring the Assam map. She stood out among 16 other participants from Assam, highlighting the state’s rich cultural heritage.
