Assam’s Railway Officers Migom Doley Conferred with Ati Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar
Guwahati, 14th December: In a tribute to exceptional service, Migom Doley, a dedicated officer from DSC/RPF/LMG in Assam, is honored with the prestigious Ati Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar.
The recognition highlights Doley’s commendable efforts during the evacuation of stranded passengers following a massive landslide on the Lumding-Badarpur hill section in May of the previous year.
His quick response played a crucial role in ensuring the safety of those trapped in the hills.
Additionally, Narendra Singh, Senior Divisional Signal and Telecommunication Engineer (DSTE/APDJ), receives the Ati Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar for his pioneering work in railway safety.
Singh’s groundbreaking efforts involved the commissioning of the Intrusion Detection System at the Madarihat-Carron section under the Alipurduar Division.
This unique initiative, focused on saving elephants from potential accidents, marks a historic milestone in Indian Railways’ commitment to safety and innovation.
