Guwahati, Assam, July 28, 2024 — Assam’s beloved singing sensation, Zubeen Garg, was unexpectedly taken ill and is currently receiving treatment at Nemcare Hospital. Medical professionals have provided initial care to stabilize his condition.
Union Minister Pabitra Margherita, who is currently in Guwahati, visited Nemcare Hospital to check on Zubeen Garg. Speaking to the media, Margherita expressed optimism about Zubeen’s recovery, stating, “Zubeen will recover soon. Everyone is praying for him and sending their blessings. There is no cause for much concern.”
This incident follows a series of health issues for Zubeen Garg over the past few years. Last November, he was also hospitalized at Nemcare Hospital due to an illness and was closely monitored in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) before being released after a good recovery.
In 2020, Zubeen was hospitalized after falling ill during a special function at Gauhati Town Club. Again in 2021, he was admitted to a private hospital in Guwahati due to high blood pressure. In 2022, he faced another health scare in Assam’s Dibrugarh, sustaining a minor head injury and experiencing a seizure that required stitches on his head.
These repeated health issues have been a significant concern for his fans, who are anxiously waiting for updates on his current condition and fervently praying for his speedy recovery.
