According to the official, a mother and a girl were trapped under the landslide rubble in the Naugad Village Council of Darchula, who is reporting the deaths.
Over a dozen houses have been swept by the flood in Khalanga, the district headquarter. A suspension bridge and a concrete bridge both sustained lasting damage as a result of a few automobiles being swept away in the flood.
