Bangladeshi National Apprehended by BSF Troops in Meghalaya for Attempted Illegal Entry

West Garo Hills: Border Security Force (BSF) personnel successfully intercepted a Bangladeshi man attempting to illegally cross into India on October 10 near the international border in Meghalaya’s West Garo Hills district.

Acting on specific intelligence, troops from the 100th Battalion BSF Meghalaya apprehended the individual identified as *Md Rabibul Islam Robin, a resident of *Sherpur district, Bangladesh, as he was trying to enter Indian territory.

Following standard protocol, BSF officials transferred Robin to the Dalu Police Station for further investigation.

Authorities are expected to examine the circumstances surrounding his illegal entry attempt and take appropriate legal action.

This incident underscores the vigilant efforts by BSF personnel to secure the Indo-Bangladesh border and prevent illegal crossings.
