Bangladeshi National Arrested At Kamakhya Railway Station, Turned Over To Police in Guwahati

Guwahati, 22nd August: A Bangladeshi national was arrested from Guwahati’s Kamakhya Railway Junction on Tuesday.

The individual identified as Qasim Ahmed allegedly entered India using forged passports.

Based on specific input, the Guwahati Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) searched the Brahmaputra Mail Train, and Qasim Ahmed was apprehended by them without any identification.

He was immediately turned over to the Assam police for further inquiry by the authorities.
