Guwahati: The Bangladesh under-16 cricket team arrived at Guwahati’s Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport on Monday prior to a series against the Assam under-16 team.
According to reports, a series between the Assam U-16 team and their Bangladeshi counterpart is reportedly scheduled. Two three-day matches and three one-day matches will make up the series.
Meanwhile, representatives of the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) gave the Bangladesh squad a warm greeting when they arrived at the airport.
They were then taken to the Guwahati hotel Apollo Grand on GS Road.
Moreover, the Assam U-16 team will also travel to Bangladesh to play a second series.
Barshapara and Amingaon stadiums are scheduled to host games. The Assam team will benefit from having the chance to compete against a foreign team since it will help them develop.
