Guwahati: A science stream will soon be available at Beltola College in Guwahati, reports that emerged on Wednesday claimed.
Speaking on the matter, The Academic Advisor to the government of Assam, Nani Gopal Mahanta, stated that there is just one college in the Dispur constituency with a science department.
He was presenting at a Beltola College-organized academic gathering.
The academic advisor gave his assurance that the government would soon deal with the problems the college was experiencing.
It should be mentioned that the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) study gave Beltola College a B+ score.
