Bihar: Mother and Daughter Found Dead with Throats Slit in Buxar

National Desk, 18th November: In a horrifying incident, the lifeless bodies of a 29-year-old woman, Anita Devi, and her five-year-old daughter, Soni Kumari, were uncovered in their residence in Ballapur village, Bihar’s Buxar district.

Buxar Superintendent of Police, Manish Kumar, revealed that the victims appeared to have been “killed with a sharp weapon.”

Anita’s husband, Babloo Yadav, was not present during the incident as he had traveled to Ara in Bhojpur. The police are actively investigating the gruesome discovery. Forensic examination of certain items recovered from the scene is underway to determine the exact cause of death.

“Investigators have recovered certain objects from the spot, which have been sent for forensic examination. The exact cause is not known. A case has been registered, and further investigation is on,” stated Superintendent Manish Kumar.

Anita Devi’s father-in-law, Lala Yadav, informed the police that his other sons found the mother and daughter dead inside their room, prompting an immediate alert to the authorities. The statement of Yadav has been recorded as part of the ongoing investigation.
