Guwahati: One person has been severely injured in a road mishap that took place in Hatigaon area of Guwahati on Saturday night.
The driver of a fast car reportedly lost control and struck the street lights in Hatigaon, causing the vehicle to be entirely wrecked.
One bike rider who was behind the car reportedly suffered severe injuries when the street light snapped and fell on his head.
The biker whose identity stands unidentified was admitted to a hospital in a critical condition.
The locals alleged that the accident occurred because the car’s driver was intoxicated.
