Guwahati: In a sensational incident, a man riding a motorcycle was electrocuted to death in Sonitpur district of Assam on Saturday night.
The incident took place in Jamugurihat area of the district.
The victim identified as Debojit Nath.
According to reports, Nath was electrocuted to death after being twisted in a live wire which was swinging from an electric pole adjoining to the road.
The tragedy occurred while the victim was on his way back to home.
Meanwhile, locals are demanding actions against the power department and claimed them for their negligence.
