Guwahati: A person was seriously injured in an accident caused by drunk driving in Guwahati, Assam on Thursday night.
The event occurred late Thursday night in Guwahati’s Survey region, near Dispur. A speeding vehicle struck the victim when he was riding a two-wheeler.
According to reports, the four-wheeler that caused the accident was carrying a group of young men and women who were all inebriated.
Meanwhile, the sufferer, who is in serious condition, has been transferred to a nearby hospital. His true identity has yet to be disclosed.
It’s worth noting that the four-wheeler that caused the collision had the registration number AS 01 BB 5554.
Meanwhile, the two-wheeler belonging to the victim was registered with numbers AS 01 EN 3747.
It may be mentioned that a legal action has been initiated into the matter and further investigation is underway.
