Guwahati: The Guwahati Tea Auction Centre (GTAC) tea lounge, which is attracting a lot of attention during the India International Trade Fair (IITF) being hosted in New Delhi, was visited by Assam Industries and Commerce Minister Bimal Borah.
Bimal Borah commended the efforts made by the GTAC tea lounge to promote Assam tea while he was visiting the Assam pavilion at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi on Sunday.
The Guwahati Tea Auction Center Tea Lounge has established itself as one of the busiest booths at the Delhi International Trade Fair and is drawing a sizable number of tea connoisseurs eager to sample the finest brew of Assam CTC, Orthodox, and Green Tea.
The sale of Single Origin Pure Assam Tea Packets at the GTAC Tea Lounge stall is another huge draw.
People find it extremely unusual that GTAC participated in an international trade fair for the first time in order to provide the Indian populace with a first-hand opportunity to taste and purchase pure Assam tea.
