BJP Claims Sweeping Panchayat Victory in Assam, Credits Unified Leadership and Modi’s Popularity

Guwahati, Assam – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has declared a significant triumph in the recently concluded Panchayat elections in Assam, attributing their success to a combination of effective party leadership, meticulous strategic planning, and the unwavering popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, addressing the media after the results were announced, expressed immense satisfaction with the outcome, highlighting the cohesive nature of the party’s campaign.

“State BJP president Dilip Saikia spearheaded our efforts in this election,” Sarma stated, acknowledging the pivotal role played by the party’s state leadership. “From the initial candidate selection to the formation of alliances, we approached every aspect with confidence, ultimately securing a resounding victory.” The Chief Minister emphasized that the campaign was a collaborative endeavor, involving a wide array of party members from various levels.

The campaign saw active participation from Union Ministers, MLAs, state ministers, and numerous party leaders, all working in unison under the direction of the State BJP president. Sarma specifically acknowledged the contributions of several key figures, including Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, BJP National Secretary and MP Kamakhya Prasad Tasa, former Union Minister Rameswar Teli, and Union Minister of State Pabitra Margherita, expressing gratitude for their dedication and hard work.

In addition to the party’s internal coordination, Chief Minister Sarma attributed a substantial portion of the victory to the enduring influence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “The Prime Minister’s affection for Assam and his constant support serve as a powerful source of inspiration for us,” he remarked. “The widespread popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his evident love for Assam undeniably played a significant role in the BJP’s overwhelming success.”
