BJP Declares List Of Candidates For Meghalaya, Nagaland Assembly Polls
Guwahati: The BJP’s Central Election Committee (CEC) announced the list of candidates for the Meghalaya and Nagaland Assembly elections on Thursday.
The party nominated 60 candidates for Meghalaya and 20 for the elections in Nagaland.

The Bharatiya Janata Party’s Central Election Committee met earlier on Wednesday to discuss the upcoming assembly elections in Meghalaya and Nagaland under the leadership of Jagat Prakash Nadda.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also attended the meeting.
This time, the BJP will contest all of the seats in Meghalaya by itself, while the party will contest the polls in alliance with the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) to do so in Nagaland. The BJP will run for 20 of the 60 seats in Nagaland.
Voting for Assembly elections in Nagaland and Meghalaya will be held on February 27, while the results will be declared on March 2.
