BJP JP Nadda holds roadshow in Himachal Pradesh

Guwahati: The chief of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) JP Nadda undertook a roadshow in Kullu in poll-bound Himachal Pradesh on Friday.

During a roadshow from Dharamshala airport, Nadda was accompanied by Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur. Hundreds of people came at the airport to greet him with flower petals.

During his visit to the state, Nadda will attend a variety of public events. This will be Nadda’s third trip to Himachal Pradesh in less than a month. Nadda will address a public rally in Dhalpur Maidan and hold a roadshow in Kullu.

While addressing the gathering, Nadda said, “The country has changed under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. Medicines and vaccines have never been developed in the country before. Vaccines for tetanus, tuberculosis, polio, BCG, and leprosy arrived from other nations. Medicines took 20-100 years to arrive.”

Assembly polls in Himachal Pradesh are slated to be held later this year.

After joining the BJP on Friday in the national capital, the AAP’s state unit president Anup Kesari, general secretary organization Satish Thakur, and Una district leader Iqbal Singh, who had been targeting Himachal Pradesh after a landslide victory in Punjab, suffered a severe defeat.
