BJP Leads in Three States in Assembly Election Results, Congress Poised to Win Telangana

National Desk, 3rd December: In the unfolding election results, the BJP has surpassed the halfway mark in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, also gaining an edge over the ruling Congress in Chhattisgarh. Conversely, early leads indicate the Congress replicating this success in Telangana.

In Madhya Pradesh, the ruling BJP has crossed the halfway mark, leading in 145 seats, while the Congress is ahead in 82 constituencies. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed confidence in the BJP forming the government again, extending congratulations to party leaders.

Rajasthan witnessed a closely contested battle initially, but the BJP has surged ahead, leading in 102 seats, while the ruling Congress is ahead in 76 seats.

Chhattisgarh experienced a tense situation, but the BJP has now moved ahead of the ruling Congress, leading in 49 seats compared to Congress’s lead in 40 constituencies. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is trailing from Patan constituency behind his nephew Vijay Baghel, a BJP candidate.

In Telangana, Congress chief Revanth Reddy is leading in the Kamareddy constituency against Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) chief and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR). Notably, KCR, contesting from Gajwel, is leading in the constituency ahead of Eatala Rajender, a BRS turncoat and current BJP leader.

Election results for Mizoram, participating in this election cycle, will be announced a day later, respecting the Christian-majority state’s observance of Sunday.
