Guwahati, 24th March: In anticipation of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, BJP MP Pabitra Margherita expressed confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s role as the star campaigner during a media interaction in Assam.
He emphasized that every member, from booth-level presidents to Pristha Praukh, holds significance as a star campaigner for the party. Margherita reiterated his trust in the people of Assam, expressing optimism that they will vote for the BJP in the elections.
Meanwhile, BJP leaders from Assam have commenced the process of filing their nominations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Although the filing of nomination papers for the first phase of the elections, scheduled for April 19, has begun, no candidates have submitted their nominations yet.
The nomination filing process for the first phase of polling is open until March 27, with an exception for Bihar, where the last day for filing nominations is March 28 due to a festival. As the election season gains momentum, BJP leaders in Assam gear up for their participation in the democratic process.
