BJP to Achieve Sweeping Victory in West Bengal, Asserts Assam Deputy Speaker Numal Momin

Guwahati, 17th May: In a confident declaration, Deputy Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly, Numal Momin, has predicted a landslide victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal. Momin asserted that the BJP is set to secure more than 35 seats in the state, signaling a significant shift in the political landscape.

“BJP will clean sweep in West Bengal,” Momin proclaimed, underscoring his confidence in the party’s electoral prospects. He emphasized the momentum behind the BJP’s campaign with the slogan, “Abki baar Modi sarkar, ab ki baar Mamata ki buri haar,” indicating a decisive defeat for the incumbent Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee.

Criticizing Banerjee’s tenure, Momin highlighted pressing issues of safety and security under her leadership. “People are not safe in West Bengal, property of people is not protected in West Bengal,” he stated, pointing to widespread concerns about law and order.

Momin particularly focused on the Chief Minister’s record on women’s safety, noting, “Being a woman Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee couldn’t protect women in West Bengal.” He expressed confidence that voters would seek change in the upcoming elections, reflecting dissatisfaction with the current administration’s performance.

Momin’s remarks come as the BJP intensifies its campaign efforts in West Bengal, aiming to make significant inroads in a state traditionally dominated by Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress.
