Guwahati: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has finally announced that they will be fielding Kingstone B Marak at the upcoming by-polls in Meghalaya.
Kingstone B Marak is presently the vice-president of the party in the West Garo Hills district.
Marak will contest for the Rajabala assembly seat.
On the other hand, the Congress party had also announced that Highlander Kharmalki will contest for the Mawryngkneng seat, Kennedy C Khyriem for the Mawphlang seat, and Hashina Yasmin Mondal will contest for the Rajabala seat.
It may be mentioned that by-polls will be held on October 30.
