BJP’s Nishith Pramanik’s Convoy Attacked With Stones in WB

Guwahati: Union minister Nitish Pramanik’s convoy was allegedly attacked by Trinamool Congress (TMC) members in Dinhata in West Bengal’s Cooch Behar district on Saturday, February 25.

As per reports, the incident took place while Pramanik was travelling to the BJP’s local office.

According to Pramanik, “the cops are behaving as mere bystanders and protecting the violent offenders.”

It has been claimed that TMC supporters threw stones at the minister’s car, breaking the front windscreen. The minister was also shown black flags.

Reacting to the incident, BJP West Bengal spokesperson Shamik Bhattacharya said “if a central minister’s car is attacked in this manner, then think about the security of the common people in the state”.
