Body of Kidnapped 12-Year-Old Found in Arunachal Pradesh Jungle

Northeast Desk, 31st July: In a heart-wrenching turn of events, the Arunachal Pradesh police have recovered the body of a 12-year-old student from Sadiya, abducted by a notorious kidnapping gang. The victim, whose identity remains confidential until the family is notified, was found buried in the dense jungles of Arunachal Pradesh.

The kidnapping gang had demanded a ransom of Rs 25 lakh for the child’s release. Despite intensive search operations and attempts to negotiate, the situation ended tragically. The discovery has sent shockwaves through the region, highlighting the grim reality of criminal activities in the area.

The operation, spearheaded by the Tezu police and conducted in collaboration with the Sadiya Regional Gorkha Students Union, led to the arrest of two suspects on July 30. The suspects, identified as Najuso Tamai and Gobin Tamang, have been linked to multiple previous offences, intensifying the urgency and focus of the investigation.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to bring justice to the victim and their family, as the community grapples with the profound loss and the need for enhanced security measures.
