Guwahati: The nude photoshoot case witness Ranveer Singh of Bollywood recorded his statement with the Mumbai Police on Monday.
Singh was the subject of a FIR filed by Mumbai Police for “hurting sensibilities of women” after images from his nude photoshoot went viral on social media.
The actor from “Bajirao Mastani” has been charged with violating Sections 509, 292, and 294 of the IPC as well as Section 67 A of the IT Act as a result of a complaint made by a female lawyer and an NGO officeholder.
Singh disrobed to her underwear for an exclusive nude photoshoot for a New York City-based publication. The photo shoot pays homage to Burt Reynolds, a popular figure in the 1970s who also stripped off for a magazine photo shoot in 1972.
The photoshoot features the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actor nude with well-groomed hair, sitting on a Turkish rug and nonchalantly posing for the camera.
