Bollywood’s Megastar Amitabh Bachchan Turns 80 Today
Guwahati: One of the biggest superstar of Hindi Cinema’s, Amitabh Bachhan turns 80 on Tuesday (October 11).
Bachchan has been ruling the hearts of people with his films and his unique style for the last five decades.
Big B’s daughter Shweta Bachchan, posted a loving message to dad on social media in honour of his special day. Shweta posted several pictures of her precious interactions with her father on Instagram.
On his 80th birthday, Amitabh Bachchan emerged around midnight to greet admirers waiting outside his home, “Jalsa.” On Tuesday night at midnight, Big B unexpectedly shocked his fans by making a quick cameo while they were partying in front of Jalsa.
Along with his daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda and granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda, the actor left his bungalow.
The megastar received wishes and prayers for a long and healthy life from Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well.
Taking to twitter, he wrote, “A very happy 80th birthday to Amitabh Bachchan Ji. He is one of India’s most remarkable film personalities who has enthralled and entertained audiences across generations. May he lead a long and healthy life.”
In 1969, Big B made his acting debut in the movie “Saat Hindustani.” Later, in Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s “Anand” (1971), he played Dr. Bhaskar Banerjee, for which he received the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. Bachchan became a celebrity to watch for in the industry thanks to Prakash Mehra’s action movie “Zanjeer” (1973), and ever since, he has captivated audiences with a variety of roles.
Big B recently appeared in the motion pictures “Brahmastra” and “Goodbye.” He will soon appear in the remakes of “The Intern,” “Project K,” and “Uunchai.”
