Guwahati: Sunit Kumar Bora, Ranjit Bora’s brother, filed a case at the Dispur Police Station on Tuesday in connection to the daylight murder of his brother in Panjabari.
Reports claim that Case No. 2479/22 has been filed.
Sunit claimed that following his brother’s tragic murder in the city’s open air, Guwahati is surrounded by instability and peril.
Manager of Purabi Dairy Ranjit Bora was shot on Monday while en route to the bank to deposit some money.
Two people were taken into custody by the police from the incident site the same day in the evening.
The police are investigating into the matter based on a number of leads they have received.
