BSF Apprehends Eight Bangladeshi Nationals in Tripura Operations
Northeast Desk, 26th September: On September 25, 2024, the Border Security Force (BSF) conducted two operations in Tripura, leading to the apprehension of eight Bangladeshi nationals.
- Six Bangladeshi nationals were caught while attempting to illegally enter India.
- All six individuals are residents of Bagerhat district, Bangladesh.
- BSF troops from the Ramendranagar Border Outpost (BOP) detained a couple attempting to cross back into Bangladesh.
- The couple hails from Chattogram district, Bangladesh.
These arrests come as part of the BSF’s intensified vigilance along the Tripura border, aimed at preventing infiltration and cross-border crimes.
