BSF Evacuates Unconscious 12-Year-Old Student in Meghalaya

Shillong: In a swift response to an emergency, Border Security Force (BSF) personnel evacuated a 12-year-old student who had fallen unconscious in Umkiang on Monday.

The student, identified as Wandahun Lyngdoh, a student of Holy Cross School, was promptly transported to Woodland Hospital in Jowai by a CSR ambulance for medical attention.

The rescue operation was executed by troops from the 172 Battalion of BSF Meghalaya, who acted quickly to ensure the child’s safety.

Further details regarding Wandahun’s condition and the circumstances leading to her unconsciousness are awaited as medical staff attend to her. The quick action by the BSF highlights their commitment to community safety and assistance in emergencies.
