Guwahati: A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan from Assam is said to have passed away tragically in Jammu and Kashmir.
The jawan has been identified as Nitul Hazarika. He was a resident of Nosungi village of Jorhat’s Titabor. He was found dead at a camp in Anantnag district.
Nitul served as a jawan in the 108th Battalion of the BSF’s F Company.
The family of Nitul had previously been told by BSF officials that he had shot himself with his military rifle. However, Nitul’s family members refuted all accusations and claimed that a conspiracy was responsible for his passing.
