BSF Jawan Martyred In Extremist Attack Near Bangladesh Border in Tripura
Guwahati: A BSF Jawan was dead during a violent shooting with suspected militant group in Tripura, on Friday.
The jawans who was killed in the shooting has been identified as Grijesh Kumar Udday.
As per reports, the National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT), a suspected militant organisation, ambushed a BSF jawan along the India-Bangladesh border in Tripura.
Reportedly, Kumar was immediately rushed to an Agartala-based ILS hospital for his medical attention but he was declared dead during his treatment.
The martyred was assigned to Simanapur 2 in North Tripura’s Anandabazar police station.
According to the police, the paramilitary soldier was shot four times by the outlawed terrorist organisation.
