BSF Meghalaya Frontier Launches ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign to Ignite Patriotism

Northeast, August 14 — The Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya Frontier has launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign as part of the ongoing ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations, aiming to instill a deep sense of patriotism across the region. The initiative encourages citizens to proudly display the national flag from August 13 to 15.

To promote the campaign, BSF field units organized walkathons and rallies in border areas and within campus premises, drawing participation from BSF personnel, civilians, and local residents. These events were designed to inspire widespread involvement in the flag-hoisting initiative, with the national flag being displayed at homes, government buildings, schools, and colleges.

The campaign’s reach extended to village headmen, former BSF personnel, and local communities, urging them to display the Tiranga in public spaces and community centers. By engaging with these key groups, the BSF aims to foster a strong sense of national pride and unity during this significant occasion.
