Guwahati, 13th August: In the wake of torrential rains, a bus accident occurred in Assam’s Bajali district on Sunday, resulting in multiple injuries to passengers.
The incident transpired on National Highway 27 in Banglipara. The bus, which was traveling from Guwahati to Barpeta, lost control and collided with the road divider, causing injuries to several passengers onboard.
Prompt action was taken, and the injured individuals were swiftly transported to the civil hospital in Pathsala for medical treatment. This unfortunate incident highlights the challenges posed by adverse weather conditions on road safety.
In a similar vein, on February 26, a bus accident occurred in Nagaland’s Keyake, resulting in injuries to passengers. The bus veered off the road, falling about 85 feet, near Seikhazou in Kohima. The injured individuals were admitted to nearby hospitals for treatment.
