Bus Crash Injures 30 Passengers at Galiya Toll Plaza in Assam

Guwahati, 16th August: On Wednesday morning near the Galiya Toll Plaza in Assam’s Bajali district, a passenger bus with the registration number AS01 GC 5040 lost control and slammed into a divider, leaving about 30 passengers hurt. The impact’s force resulted in numerous injuries among the passengers. The status of one of the injured people is critical. All injured people were quickly transported to the Bhawanipur Health Centre for emergency medical care.

This unfortunate event follows another tragic collision that occurred on August 15 in Assam’s Goreswar. The accident transpired at Bangalpara in Goreswar, located in the Baksa district of Assam. It was reported that a speeding motorcycle and a scooter collided head-on, resulting in the untimely death of a young individual identified as Bipul Nirala.

The incidents serve as a reminder of the importance of road safety and responsible driving practices to prevent such grievous accidents.
