Cachar Police Bolster Security Amid Tensions on Assam-Manipur Border
Assam: In response to rising tensions in Jiribam, Manipur, Cachar Police have heightened security measures along the Assam-Manipur border, aiming to stabilize the area and curb unauthorized movements.
The intensified operations include thorough foot patrols, area domination, and targeted searches in the Tupidhar region, emphasizing both security and community engagement.
The police have also expanded their vigilance to the Barak River, initiating regular riverine patrols along the stretch from Fulertal to Tupidhar. This expanded security effort is part of a comprehensive strategy to maintain strict surveillance and protect the Assam-Manipur border area.
Cachar Police reaffirmed their commitment to regional peace and security through these proactive measures, seeking to reinforce stability and foster a sense of safety within the border communities.
