A car bomb blast in Afghanistan’s second-largest city, Kandahar has killed at least 4 people and several injured including civilians. The car blast explosion occurred late on Sunday night, targeting the Shahra Battalion (Shahra Kandak) in Kandahar’s Maiwand district, adding that there were several dead and injured among both the military personnel and civilians.
Eyewitnesses have said that the blast have destroyed several shops and houses and that some people could still be under the rubble. However no terrorist organization has taken responsibility for the car bomb explosion so far.
