Guwahati: A carcass of an elephant calf was found by locals from a tea estate in Jorhat district of Assam on Friday morning.
Locals had discovered the carcass at Kasojan tea estate in Titabor and informed forest officials.
It is learned that the calf was roughly three-months-old during the time of its death.
The cause of the elehpant’s death has not been established yet.
