CBSE Class 10 results: Guwahati zone records lowest pass percentage
Guwahati: The Class 10 exam results were announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday. The overall pass rate was recorded at 94.40 percent.
The results of the Class 12 exams were released by the board earlier today.
Similar to Class 12, Trivandrum region children also had the highest pass rate in Class 10 with 99.68%, followed by Bengaluru with 99.22%, Chennai with 98.97%, Ajmer with 98.14%, and Patna with 97.65%.
Guwahati is at the bottom of the list with 82.23 percent.
The girls did 1.14 percent better than the boys in class 10 exams as well. The females outperformed the boys, who had an overall pass percentage of 93.80 percent, with 95.21 percent.
2093978 students in total appeared for the exam and 1976668 of them passed the CBSE Class 10 exam.
Over 64908 students received scores of over 95%, while 236993 lakh received marks of over 90%.
